If you manage to get some more time to stay in Italy, there are so many other cities to check out.
- Naples: Known for being the home of pizza, it is the jump-off point to visit Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius, as well as the Amalfi Coast and Positano.
- Bologna: This can also be a day trip from Florence but to appreciate the city fully, you should stay longer.
- Sicily: The southern part of Italy is different and this is where you go to enjoy the beach. There is also Mt. Etna, as well as other historic cities.
The different corners of Italy deserve a visit because it is such a diverse country. While time may not always permit a longer stay to unravel all of its beautiful cities, you can already see quite a bit during a 10-day stay in this country.
